नाईक मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठांतर्गत असलेल्‍या लातुर येथील गळीतधान्‍य संशोधन
केंद्र, हैद्राबाद येथील तेलबिया संशोधन संचालनालय व नवी दिल्‍ली
येथील राष्‍ट्रीय पादप आनुवंशिक संसाधन ब्‍यूरो यांच्‍या संयुक्‍त विद्यमाने राष्‍ट्रीय सुर्यफुल जर्मप्‍लाझम दिनानिमित्‍त लातूर येथील गळीत धान्‍य संशोधन केंद्रात दि.05 व 06 फेब्रुवारी, 2014 रोजी दोन दिवशीय परिसंवादाचे आयोजन करण्‍यात आले
असुन परिसंवादाचे उदघाटन महात्‍मा फुले कृषि विद्यापीठ, राहुरीचे माजी कुलगुरू तथा वनामकृवि, परभणीचे कार्यकारी परिषदेचे सदस्‍य मा. डॉ. योगेंद्र नेरकर
यांच्‍या हस्‍ते होणार आहे. कार्यक्रमाच्‍या अध्‍यक्षस्‍थानी वसंतराव नाईक
मराठवाडा कृषि विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू मा डॉ बी वेंकटेश्‍वरलु राहणार असुन हैद्राबाद
येथील तेलबीया संशोधन संचालनालयाचे प्रकल्‍प संचालक डॉ. के. एस. वराप्रसाद व नवी
दिल्‍ली येथील राष्‍ट्रीय पादप आनुवंशिक संसाधन ब्‍यूरोचे प्रमुख डॉ आर के त्‍यागी
यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती राहणार आहे. लातूर येथील गळीत धान्‍य संशोधन केंद्रात
सूर्यफुलाच्‍या 2000 जातीचा संग्रह केलेला असून त्‍यावर दोन दिवसांच्‍या
चर्चासत्रात सूर्यफुलावरील संशोधन बाबीविषयी सखोल चर्चा केली जाणार आहे. सदरील
कार्यक्रमात अखिल भारतीय स्‍तरावरील सुर्यफुल पैदासकार तसेच भारतीय अनुसंधान परिषद, नवी दिल्‍ली येथील उच्‍च पदस्‍थ अधिकारी व विविध शास्‍त्रज्ञ
सहभागी होणार आहेत. कार्यक्रमाच्‍या यशस्‍वीतेसाठी संशोधन संचालक डॉ दत्‍तप्रसाद
वासकर यांच्‍या मार्गदर्शनाखाली विविध समित्‍यांचे गठण करण्‍यात आल्‍याची माहिती
कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजक व गळीतधान्‍य विशेषतज्ञ डॉ. म. का. घोडके यांनी दिली आहे.

Germplasm Field Day
VNMKV’s Oilseeds
Research Station, Latur, Directorate of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad and
National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NGPGR), New Delhi will jointly organize
two days function on the occasion of National Sunflower Germplasm Day on February
6 on Auditorium of College of Agriculture Biotechnology, Latur during 5th
& 6th February. Vice-Chancellor Hon’ble Dr. B.Venkateswarlu will
inaugurate the programme while Former Vice-Chancellor of MPKV, Rahuri &
Member of VNMKV Executive Council Hon’ble Dr. Yogendra Nerkar will be the chief
guest. Dr. K.S.Varaprasad, Project Director, Directorate of Oilseeds Research,
Hyderabad and Dr. R.K. Tyagi, Head, Division of Germplasm Conservation, NBPGR,
New Delhi will also remain present.
On
this occasion, two days programme includes field visit to collected two thousand
germplasms of sunflower and the sunflower breeder and researchers of NGPGR will
guide the scientists and progressive farmers. Dr. D.P. Waskar, Director of
Research, VNMKV and Dr. M.K.Ghodke, Oilseed Specialist, Oilseeds Research
Station, Latur have appealed to the scientists and progressive farmers to participate
in the function.
